The Directors, members and staff of the Jamaica Developers Association mourn the passing of our beloved former Secretary/Manager, Miss Joyce F. Bolton, J.P., O.D. on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Miss Bolton devoted her life to the mission of our Association, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment for a span of over twenty-eight years (from February 1992 to December 2020).
Throughout her tenure, she collaborated tirelessly to foster cooperation with Government Agencies and Professional Associations, and guarantee the smooth operation and sustainability of our Association.
She played a vital role in founding the “Eustace Bird” Bursary, named after our former late Secretary Manager, Mr. Eustace Bird, with the aim of providing financial support to students in the Faculty of the Built Environment at the University of Technology.
During her time with us, Miss Bolton became more than just a colleague; she was a mentor, a friend, and a pillar of strength to many. Her legacy of excellence and her spirit of generosity will continue to inspire us as we carry forward her vision for our Association.
May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
